Project Management Officer

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Officer to join our team at Eastport Financial Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new administrative procedures, reviewing and evaluating existing procedures, and delegating work to office support staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination and management, with excellent organizational and communication skills. They will be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a large workload.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing new administrative procedures
  • Reviewing and evaluating existing procedures
  • Delegating work to office support staff
  • Establishing work priorities and ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carrying out administrative activities of the establishment
  • Assisting in the preparation of operating budget and maintaining inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assembling data and preparing periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Performing data entry
  • Training staff
  • Overseeing and coordinating office administrative procedures
  • Monitoring and evaluating
  • Planning and controlling budget and expenditures
  • Planning and managing budgets
  • Office management
  • Maintaining supplies
  • Greeting people and directing them to contacts or service areas
  • Answering telephone and relaying telephone calls and messages

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project coordination and management, with excellent organizational and communication skills. They will be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a large workload.
