Mechanical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review system engineering concepts, design briefs, and concept reports.
* Manage construction budgets and ensure proper coordination of documents with internal and external project teams.
* Perform reviews of existing installations, interpret impact on projects, and prepare calculations and select equipment.
* Ensure proper coordination of documents with internal and external project teams, including architects, interior designers, and other disciplines.
* Review deliverables for completeness and accuracy at various stages of development.
* Promote and enforce company standards relating to project administration, documentation, and processes.
Requirements:
* Five or more years of project engineering experience in mechanical building services.
* P.Eng. or ability to qualify within one year.
* Full understanding of Codes and Standards relevant for the project and ability to communicate requirements to internal and external teams.
* Experience in healthcare facilities, including Infection Control Certification CAN/CSA Z312 and CSA Z32, is an asset.
* Advanced working knowledge of provincial building code, ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standards.
* Strong leadership qualities and ability to work independently.
* Ability to work in a complex environment, dealing with multiple projects and clients.
* Possess sound communications skills, demonstrated through client and staff relations.
