Job Title: Early Childhood Educator - Child Development Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Creative Explorer's Daycare Ltd. As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in our care.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including daycare equipment and facilities.
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote child development.
  • Lead activities that encourage creativity, physical activity, and social interaction among children.
  • Assist with record-keeping and submitting written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Or equivalent experience.

Work Setting: Day care centre or nursery school.

Work Language: English.

Hours: 40 hours per week.
