About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Services Manager to join our Global Mobility team at KPMG Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and guidance to our multinational clients on personal and payroll compliance and advisory tax services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client engagements of various sizes, providing strategic tax planning and compliance advice to clients.
  • Manage international assignment programs, overseeing all aspects of client engagements, including tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Provide tax compliance management services, including Canadian and US personal tax, tax returns, tax projections, tax equalizations, and tax briefings with assignees.
  • Review the work of junior staff for accuracy and completeness, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Advise on various mobility issues, including business travelers and cross-border remote work arrangements.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentoring for the professional development of staff.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a public accounting firm specializing in personal Canadian and US tax and/or expertise in cross-border Canada-US payroll matters.
  • Excellent people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Highly motivated individual with a desire for growth and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of professionalism in the performance of duties.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills, with excellent computer skills, including Excel experience.
  • Effectively manages conflicting demands and priorities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to instill enthusiasm in others to achieve desired results and provide persuasive and self-assured responses to challenging questions.
What We Offer

KPMG Canada offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program, including a base salary range of $85,500 to $128,500, and may be eligible for bonus awards. We also offer flexible remote and hybrid work arrangements, as well as a range of benefits and well-being programs.
