As a key member of our horticultural team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursery and greenhouse. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the efficient management of staff, labour, and materials. You will be responsible for planning and estimating labour and materials, maintaining work records and logs, and administering contracts. Additionally, you will be required to requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. You will also supervise nursery and greenhouse workers, establish work schedules and procedures, and maintain a fast-paced environment. If you have a strong background in horticulture and excellent leadership skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will have a college education and 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. The position is permanent, with a 32-hour workweek and English as the primary language of communication.
