Combined Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Two Hills Health Centre. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will be responsible for performing procedures in both the laboratory and diagnostic imaging departments, working closely with patients, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and analyze biological specimens, conduct X-ray examinations, ECGs, and report results.
- Prepare patients, perform venipuncture and micropuncture, and maintain routine equipment.
- Ensure quality control procedures are performed as required.
- Collaborate with the inter-professional team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Completion of a diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT).
- Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
- Recent cardiology experience, including ECG and Holter Monitor.
- Proficient computer skills and Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
- Experience operating and troubleshooting diagnostic imaging equipment, including the Kodak 850 CR Reader, Phillips X-ray unit, and Art Plus Portable for mobile X-ray.
- Experience with laboratory equipment, including the Vitros 250/350 or XT3400, ACL Elite Pro, Sysmex XN550, Clinitek Status, I-Stat, and Triage Meter Pro.
- A competitive salary range of $35.45 to $46.69 per hour.
