Job Summary
A server at Copper & Kings Rooftop Bar & Restaurant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring seamless service execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional demeanor and composure in all situations.
- Develop a passion for Copper & Kings products and culture, providing guests with personalized recommendations and exceptional service.
- Educate guests on Copper & Kings products, distillation process, and cocktails, showcasing expertise and enthusiasm.
- Engage guests in the history of Butchertown, Copper & Kings, and the brand's love for music and food.
- Ensure guest expectations are met by executing proper service sequences, moving with purpose, confidence, and speed.
- Maintain table and restaurant cleanliness, adhering to high standards.
- Complete setup, side work, and closing tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with Lead Supervisor to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
- Emphasize the importance of internal hospitality and team environment.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant environment, preferably as a server or bartender.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, with a flexible schedule.
- Effective communication skills and ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and education in craft cocktails.
- General knowledge and enthusiasm for craft distilling and spirits.
- History in bartending and a desire for upward mobility and cross-training.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Works outdoors/indoors.
- Works in warm/cold climates.
- Works in high places.
- Works on wet surfaces.
- Exposed to loud noise, fumes, and/or toxic chemicals.
- Works near moving, mechanical parts, and lift truck traffic.
- Must be able to move up to 55 lbs.
Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
