Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Copper & Kings Rooftop Bar & Restaurant. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, providing outstanding service, and ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.
  • Share knowledge of Copper & Kings products and culture, making recommendations and providing honest salesmanship.
  • Educate guests on Brandy, Gin, and Absinthe, highlighting the distillation process and extensive understanding of cocktails.
  • Engage guests in conversation, sharing the history of Butchertown, Copper & Kings products, and the company's love for music and food.
  • Ensure guest expectations are met by executing proper sequence of service, moving with purpose, confidence, and speed.
  • Maintain the details of table and restaurant cleanliness, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Complete set-up, side work, and closing tasks as assigned and/or directed in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Lead Supervisor to ensure all tasks are being completed thoroughly, correctly, and efficiently during the shift.

Requirements:

  • One to two years of experience in a restaurant environment, preferably in a server or bartender role.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (must have a flexible schedule).
  • Effective communication skills and ability to maintain composure in high-stress environments.
  • Commitment to delivering an outstanding customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and education in craft cocktails.
  • General knowledge and enthusiasm for craft distilling and spirits.
  • History in bartending and a desire for upward mobility and cross-training.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Works outdoors/indoors.
  • Works in warm/cold climates.
  • Works in high places.
  • Works on wet surfaces.
  • Is exposed to loud noise, fumes, and/or toxic chemicals.
  • Works near moving, mechanical parts, and lift truck traffic.
  • Must be able to move up to 55 lbs.
