Job Overview

As the Site Superintendent at Qualico Canada, you will oversee on-site construction activities across multiple construction sites in Edmonton. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that construction adheres to established design, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with trade partners and suppliers to schedule material and labor deliveries, and inspect work to ensure it meets Qualico's standards and building codes.
  • Complete daily hazard assessments as part of the safety program, and interpret plans and specifications to identify potential issues.
  • Supervise and develop on-site team members, manage daily tasks, and ensure work is carried out safely.
  • Ensure adherence to Qualico's Safety Program and relevant safety legislation, and perform site safety orientations and regular safety meetings.
  • Meet with customers prior to possession to inspect homes and address inquiries or concerns, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Maintain project schedules, complete progress reports, and provide updates to the project management team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of site superintendent experience in residential construction.
  • Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
  • Experience overseeing multiple construction sites.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and construction management software.
  • Physical ability to perform basic construction duties.

Work Conditions
