Job Description

The successful candidate will provide administrative support functions to FortisBC's Operations and Engineering teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and interpreting information to support operations group
  • Receiving and initiating reports of system faults or damage
  • Processing work orders and notifications
  • Maintaining contact with field resources regarding scheduled and ongoing work

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • High school graduation
  • Nine months of directly related work experience, typically gained as an OSR 2
  • Strong organizational skills, including multi-tasking, prioritization, and working under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A working knowledge of computer systems operations and various applications software
