About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Team Member to join our team at Mundy Park Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, and oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and ensure that all team members are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that all products meet our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to all customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a bakery or related environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
