Job Summary

JobCart Inc is seeking a skilled Millwright - Food Industry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shift Operations: Work rotational shifts, including nights, to maintain equipment and ensure production continuity.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial and mechanical equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on all equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document all maintenance work, including scheduled work and break-in work, in the shift logbook system and work order system.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other technical and operational resources, including maintenance coordinators and other maintenance leaders.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright License, previous completion of an apprenticeship preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in food manufacturing, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Skills: Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move heavy machinery, work at heights, and in fast-paced production environments.
