Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, and shipment of products, as well as providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation of orders, receive and ship products, and manage inventory levels.
- Provide support to our sales team, including preparing quotes, processing orders, and communicating with customers.
- Assist with the coordination of transportation and logistics, including scheduling pickups and deliveries.
- Operate a forklift and participate in annual inventory counts.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in a related field.
- Minimum one year of experience in warehouse operations and customer service or sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
- Strong math skills and ability to learn and use our inventory management system.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with products sold in our warehouse, such as plumbing and construction materials.
- Knowledge of English is an asset.
