About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the front-of-house activities, ensuring exceptional service and quality, and leading a team of staff to create a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage staff service activities, resources, budget, and scheduling
  • Supervise and mentor the team, conduct recruitment, training, task allocation, and performance evaluation
  • Contribute to the menu and ensure that front-of-house offerings are of the highest caliber
  • Maintain and promote updated knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with management and coordinate food and beverage service for special events

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in restaurant supervision or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • The ability to obtain registration with either the BCLC, AGLC, or AGCO (based on province)
  • FOODSAFE Level 1 Certificate (In BC) / Mini Food Safety Course (In Alberta)
  • DealUs In training completed prior to start date (In Alberta)
  • Leadership skills – able to direct and supervise staff
  • Customer service skills – able to exceed guest expectations
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds
