Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Days Inn & Suites Sault Ste Marie.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage services, ensuring that high-quality standards are met, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of employee hours, sales, and other relevant data.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
