Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at MyHealth Centre. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including echocardiograms, to help our patients receive accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including echocardiograms, to obtain high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including echocardiogram machines, to obtain high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results.
Requirements:
  • ARDMS or CARDUP certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to perform echocardiograms using various machines, including Philips iE33, GE Vivid s6, and GE Vivid E9.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and training.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
