Job Title: Restaurant Shift Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at KASTURI Indian Hakka Chinese Cuisine. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a high level of quality and freshness.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to our high standards.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
