Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration and Compliance Officer to join our team at MMJ Hotel Housekeeping and Janitorial Services Inc. This role requires a college-educated professional with 1 year of experience in human resources administration, responsible for staff consultation, grievance procedures, and policy development. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be a team player, and have the ability to multitask and be accountable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Consultation and Grievance Procedures: Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
  • HR Activities: Coordinate HR activities to meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Policy Development: Plan, develop, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Research and Recommendation: Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to support organizational decisions.
  • Employee Development: Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support employee growth and development.
  • Employee Benefits and Health and Safety: Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes to support employee well-being.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: College-educated with a degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in human resources administration.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, team player, ability to multitask and be accountable.
  • Certifications: Required certifications for the role.

Work Term: Permanent. Work Language: English. Hours: 40 hours per week.
