About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at Urban Construction Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for performing manual or semi-automatic welding tasks on various metal components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding Operations: Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to ensure high-quality welds.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operations.
  • Materials Evaluation: Determine weldability of materials and select suitable materials for welding operations.
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and exposure to dust, noise, and confined spaces. Standing for extended periods is also a requirement of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Physical Demands: Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy tools and equipment.
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required. 1-7 months of experience preferred.
  • Languages: English language proficiency.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $40-$55 per hour, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
