Job Summary

A Hydraulic Systems Designer is responsible for designing and developing fluid power systems for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hydraulic relationships, mechanical power relationships, and electrical relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assemble fluid power systems to meet production requirements
  • Perform and coordinate layout and design of hydraulic systems to ensure efficiency and safety
  • Create hydraulic drawings and schematics to communicate design intent
  • Research and select hydraulic components to meet performance and cost requirements
  • Complete bills of material for hydraulic systems to ensure accurate inventory management
  • Evaluate and implement hydraulic design changes to improve system performance
  • Provide service, sales, and manufacturing support for hydraulic systems to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic systems to resolve issues and improve efficiency

Requirements

  • 2-year technical education and/or applicable experience in Fluid Power
  • Thorough understanding of hydraulic relationships, mechanical power relationships, and electrical relationships
  • Excellent customer and vendor relationship skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
