Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fluid Power Systems Engineer to join our team at Superior Industries Inc.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing fluid power systems, including hydraulic system layout and design. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop fluid power systems, including hydraulic system layouts and designs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Perform research and selection of hydraulic components, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
  • Create detailed bills of material for hydraulic systems.
  • Evaluate and implement hydraulic design changes, optimizing system performance.
  • Provide exceptional service, sales, and manufacturing support for fluid power systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in fluid power systems engineering.
  • Thorough understanding of hydraulic relationships, mechanical power relationships, electrical relationships, and applications of various hydraulic components.
  • Excellent customer and vendor relationship skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
