Job Title: School of Business Dean

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of School of Business Dean at St. Francis Xavier University. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the school's academic and administrative activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality business education programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the school's academic and administrative activities.
  • Lead and manage a team of faculty and staff to achieve the school's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other university departments to ensure alignment with the institution's overall strategic plan.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the school's programs and activities.
  • Recruit and hire faculty and staff to support the school's academic and administrative activities.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the school's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the school's committees and working groups.
  • Represent the school at university and external events.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior administrative role in higher education.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
