About the Role:
Sunwest Aviation Ltd., a leading Western Canadian operator of jet and turboprop charter aircraft, is seeking an experienced Lear 45 Captain to join our team. Our fleet's diversity offers excellent opportunities for advancement, and with over twenty-five years of safe operation, we've established a solid reputation in the aviation industry.
We are looking for a skilled professional who can perform the duties and responsibilities of this position, including but not limited to:
- The proficient and safe operation of the Lear 45 aircraft.
- Performing all required duties and responsibilities associated with the Lear 45 aircraft.
- Strictly adhering to safety regulations in accordance with company requirements, Transport Canada, and CARs (Civil Aviation Regulations).
- Executing any additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Pilot and/or Deputy Chief Pilot.
Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $95,000 - $120,000 per year, based on location and experience.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- A valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence, along with a valid Instrument and Type rating (if required).
- 3,500 hours Total Time.
- 2,000 hours PIC.
- 2,000hours Multi-Engine.
- 1,500 hours Multi PIC.
- 200 hours jet.
- Prior experience on the Lear 45 is preferred.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
