Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Barburrito, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring high-quality food and excellent customer service
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Manage records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Establish and maintain work schedules, ensuring a fair and productive work environment
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Fast-paced environment with high pressure to meet customer demand
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with extended periods of standing
  • Physically demanding role requiring stamina and endurance

Experience:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent position with 35 hours per week
