Canadian Blood Services is seeking a highly skilled Creative Lead to join our Integrated Marketing team on a temporary full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the creative direction of all design and content, ensuring alignment with business strategies and broader Canadian Blood Services goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage your design leadership skills to develop and implement comprehensive creative strategies that drive business results.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, writers, and other creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Lead the planning and execution of creative shoots and oversee the selection, cataloguing, and maintenance of creative assets.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback during the creative process, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.
- Work closely with the brand team to ensure alignment with brand expectations, guidelines, and feedback.
- Demonstrate leadership in living the brand and serve as a subject matter expert in creative brand expression, providing guidance to all areas of the organization, external agencies, and partners on the correct application of the brand.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- 7+ years of graphic design experience with 3+ years within a creative leadership role.
- Experience working within an in-house environment is essential, with agency experience considered an asset.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational abilities.
- Confident client interfacing and excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Skilled in analytical and creative problem-solving, handling multiple projects, and prioritizing tasks.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Suite, and other relevant design and project management tools.
- Highly developed team leadership and interpersonal skills are required, with a proven ability to build and manage professional relationships.

What You Can Expect
- This role will work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be onsite at a Canadian Blood Services location 40% of the time.
- You will work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day.
- Travel requirements may apply to attend shoots and project commitments.
