First Choice Foods is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our premises.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have experience in maintenance and repair work, with a strong focus on ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms, as well as making minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems.
In addition to these duties, the Facilities Maintenance Professional will also be responsible for emptying trash cans, moving heavy furniture and equipment, and performing safety and security checks. You will work closely with contractors and tradespersons to ensure that all repairs and maintenance are completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our premises, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities, including making minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems.
- Empty trash cans and recycling bins, and maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
- Move heavy furniture and equipment as required.
- Perform safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of employees and visitors.
- Work with contractors and tradespersons to ensure that all repairs and maintenance are completed to a high standard.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A minimum of [estimated salary: $50,000] per year, depending on experience.
- No formal education is required, but experience in maintenance and repair work is essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
