We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Select People Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy duty equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Welding experience
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform other routine maintenance
Requirements
  • Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Attention to detail
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Manual dexterity
