We are seeking a customer-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic at our Lethbridge, AB branch.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2nd or 3rd year registered apprentice
  • Minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience, preferably working on a variety of construction equipment
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean or satisfactory driver's abstract
  • Must have a complete set of tools
  • Must be available to work overtime as required, and to work on an on-call rotation
  • Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools
  • Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, and motors
  • Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner
  • Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision
