Job Description

As a key member of the Administration portuaire de Québec team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining computer applications using Microsoft tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise to internal stakeholders and support the development of innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with users to identify and clarify their needs, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
  • Coordinate the development, testing, and implementation of practical solutions, integrating them with existing systems where necessary.
  • Design and develop applications using Microsoft PowerApps and PowerAutomate, as well as SharePoint solutions.
  • Develop reports using PowerBI technologies from local data environments such as SQL Server and Oracle, as well as cloud data environments like Microsoft D365.
  • Create documentation for various systems and deliver training to users on applications in production.
  • Maintain existing programs and stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in IT tools and new versions.
  • Support colleagues in their work and contribute to a positive work climate that fosters teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and perform other related tasks as required.
Daily Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively as part of a small multidisciplinary team.
  • Manage and analyze data to bring it to life and inform decision-making.
  • Apply expertise acquired through training in computer science and telecommunications to drive project success.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft O365 suite, modern workspace, particularly PowerApps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, including design, configuration, and administration of SharePoint Online sites (SharePoint certification considered an asset).
  • Mastery of SQL Server and Oracle databases, as well as Microsoft D365.
  • Knowledge of the Azure cloud environment.
  • Experience in setting up workflows.
