About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Endpoint and Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our growing End User Computing Engineering and Enterprise Tools team at Wayfair. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in large-scale endpoint management and systems automation.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in SCCM, Intune, and/or JAMF administration and engineering, with strong leadership, roadmap development, support provision, and operational reporting skills. Additionally, you should have expertise in operating systems such as Windows 10/11, MacOS, Linux, and experience with programming languages like Bash/Powershell, Python, and familiarity with version control GitHub/CI-CD pipelines.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to direct reports globally dispersed.
  • Expertise in large-scale endpoint management and systems automation or systems engineering is required.
  • Continually improve end-user services related to endpoint management by deeply understanding customer experiences.
  • Deploy operating systems, applications, and patches using Intune and JAMF.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot endpoint health and compliance issues.
  • Set 24-hour on-call support to ensure rapid recovery from software or hardware problems for mission-critical systems and networks.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration with security, networking, and identity management systems.
  • Assist with the maintenance and management of the licensing arrangements of software, including procurement, contract management, and renewals as well as capacity monitoring and forecasting.
  • Designing and managing the integration of various software applications to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability within the enterprise's IT ecosystem.
  • Oversee the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of enterprise applications ensuring that software applications are configured correctly and perform optimally to meet business requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in SCCM, Intune, and/or JAMF administration and engineering.
  • Strong leadership, roadmap development, support provision, and operational reporting skills.
  • Expertise in operating systems such as Windows 10/11, MacOS, Linux.
  • Experience with programming languages like Bash/Powershell, Python, and familiarity with version control GitHub/CI-CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, IIS, Group Policies, File Services).
  • Analyze logging data/alerts to recognize trends and create proactive solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Track record of strong security partnerships and current knowledge of the security landscape.

Wayfair offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience.
