Job Description

At SOO SOLUTIONS INC, we are seeking a highly skilled Store Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management and be able to effectively manage staff, assign duties, and determine merchandise and services to be sold.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold, and locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Budget Planning: Plan and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure the store is operating efficiently.
  • Recruitment and Supervision: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, conducting performance reviews to ensure they are meeting expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Personal Qualities: Adaptability, integrity, positive attitude, proactive, time management, client focus, judgement, organized, and team player.
Work Environment

The Store Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the store is operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
