Job Title: Carpenter and Builder

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter and Builder to join our team at PRO-SHIELD ENTERPRISES INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating residential and commercial structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to building codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
