About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Longevity Builders Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare building layouts in accordance with local building codes, utilizing measuring tools and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures, including wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with varying work conditions, including:

  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • A combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Handling heavy loads.
  • Tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in the carpentry trade.
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial construction sites.
