We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at MV Castillo Painting Corporation. As a Construction Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction and maintenance of various structures, including buildings, roads, and bridges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, such as concrete, asphalt, and tools.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Forms and Scaffolding: Help to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Spreading Materials: Assist in mixing and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Performing Routine Maintenance Work: Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning and piling salvaged materials.
  • Removing Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction labouring.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Site Environment: Outdoors, at heights, underground, confined spaces, dangerous, dusty, and cold/refrigerated.
  • Work Setting: Remote location and various locations.

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

  • Curbing Machine: Experience with curbing machines.
  • Mortar and Concrete Mixers: Experience with mortar and concrete mixers.
  • Chippers: Experience with chippers.
  • Jackhammers: Experience with jackhammers.
  • Air Guns: Experience with air guns.
  • Nail Guns: Experience with nail guns.
  • Drills: Experience with drills.
  • Torches: Experience with torches.
  • Chain Saw: Experience with chain saw.
  • Sandblasters: Experience with sandblasters.
  • Sledgehammer: Experience with sledgehammer.

Security and Safety:

  • Criminal Record Check: Must undergo a criminal record check.

Transportation/Travel Information:

  • Own Vehicle: Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from work sites.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically Demanding: Physically demanding work.
  • Manual Dexterity: Manual dexterity required for various tasks.

Weight Handling:

  • More than 45 kg (100 lbs): Must be able to lift and handle loads over 45 kg (100 lbs).

Own Tools/Equipment:

Experience:
