Job Title: Licensed Millwright

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Millwright to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of equipment in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
  • Assist with installation and maintenance tasks to ensure efficient operation
  • Identify and document potential repair problems and report to supervisors
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery
  • Weld, repair, and fabricate equipment or machinery as needed
  • Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, or in person
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and apply knowledge to job duties
  • Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify errors or defects
  • Work closely with production and maintenance supervision to minimize downtime
  • Responsible for housekeeping in shop and work areas
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
  • Fully licensed industrial millwright with experience in manufacturing and/or process industries
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, P&ID's, equipment manuals, and other relevant materials
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
  • Understanding of CMMS (SAP) and ability to utilize it for daily work
  • Developing respectful, constructive, and cooperative working relationships with others
