Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Fabrication Welder to join our team at Jassal Fabrications. As a Master Fabrication Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and repair metal parts and products using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Computer-aided design (CAD)
  • Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
  • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using robotic welding production line
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in fabrication welding
  • Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g. mechanical engineering, metallurgy)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
