Kitchen Assistant

About the Role:
Tokyo Express St. Albert is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Prepare and package take-out food
- Portion and wrap food items
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
- Replenish condiments and supplies in the dining area
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit
- Perform other kitchen-related tasks as required
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, and you must be able to work under pressure. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks.
