We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Inntown Inn & Suites. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Supply Distribution: Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our guests, ensuring they have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Elevator Maintenance: Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a safe and clean environment for our guests.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including cleaning changing rooms and showers.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • This role does not require Canadian work experience.
Support for Youths:
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Support for Visible Minorities:
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.

We offer a permanent work term and 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
