Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Inntown Inn & Suites. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, and clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.

Requirements: No degree, certificate, or diploma required. Experience an asset. Work Term: Permanent. Work Language: English. Hours: 40 hours per week.
