Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Kiwi Constructors Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare building layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Coordinate and schedule work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices, promoting their growth and development.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the carpentry trade.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work at heights, in dusty environments, and with physically demanding tasks.
- First Aid Certificate, Working at Heights Training, and other relevant certifications.
