Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Product Specialist to join our team in Winnipeg, Regina, or Saskatoon. As a key commercial resource for the Midwest Division, you will be responsible for growing sales of Smart Components products.

The successful candidate will provide customer service and technical support to clients in the Midwest area, focusing on Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and Rockwell Encompass products. Your expertise will include preparing and following up on technical quotations, developing regional operating and business plans, promoting Smart Components solutions through technical seminars, and collaborating with industrial outside sales personnel and direct customer assistance as needed.

This is an exciting opportunity to promote Westburne as an automation solutions provider by maintaining a high level of technical expertise and presence within our customer base. You will thrive in this role if you have previous sales and presentation experience, a Community College Electrical/Electronic (or Automation) Technician or Technologist diploma, and product knowledge of industrial automation products, preferably Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley. Strong communication skills, ability to describe complex concepts, and demonstrated knowledge & understanding of Automation standards & terminology are also essential.
