Pursuing a Career in Human Resources


We are seeking a talented Human Resources Student to join our team at PCL Construction. As a Human Resources Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various areas of our Human Resources department, including recruitment, training, and professional development.


Responsibilities:



  • Assist with planning and executing career fairs and other recruitment events.
  • Support the team in training coordination and course setup.
  • Prepare for daily events and follow-up actions, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, maintaining action lists and reminders, and meeting preparation.
  • Perform tasks requiring a high degree of confidentiality, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation.

Qualifications:



  • Pursuing a degree or diploma with a Human Resources major.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with various computer programs, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Able to proactively anticipate needs and follow-up items for the team.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality required of work assignments.
  • Independent and resourceful in accomplishing day-to-day tasks and assignments.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities under tight deadlines.
