Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Specialist to join our team at Maison Canada Holdings Ltd. This role will focus on optimizing manufacturing processes and improving product design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Prepare detailed designs, drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Design and develop tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Conduct limited range of mechanical tests and analyses to evaluate machine performance and component quality.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for project execution.
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop contracts and tenders for procurement purposes.
  • Establish and maintain standards and schedules for mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Supervise maintenance programs and operation of mechanical plants to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects to identify areas for improvement.
  • Test machines and equipment to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing optimization.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Work Terms: Permanent position, 40 hours per week.
