A successful Global Forwarding Specialist thrives in a fast-paced environment, finding creative solutions to complex transportation and documentation challenges. You'll work closely with our international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficient and excellent customer service. Our dynamic training program will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this role.

As a Global Forwarding Specialist, you'll engage with peers on-site for the first 2-3 months, followed by a flexible schedule of 1-2 days in the office and the rest from home. This role offers a perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Operational Excellence:
    • Understand international shipping processes, documentation, and terminology.
    • Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and create solutions.
    • Coordinate tasks on shipments to meet customer SOP requirements.

Facilitate Relationships:

  • Collaborate with international team members and third-party agents.
  • Build great relationships with customers, responding timely and following up on issue resolution.
  • Provide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customers.
  • Participate in customer business reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Global Forwarding experience.
