Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team at Global Lumber Resources Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in accounting, with expertise in using accounting software such as Sage Accounting Software and MS Office. You will also possess strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and reliability, with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Management: Manage financial records, including manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Payroll Preparation: Prepare cheques for payroll and reconcile accounts.
  • Financial Statement Maintenance: Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, including trial balances and statistical reports.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting.
  • Skills: Expertise in using accounting software, MS Office, and Sage Accounting Software; strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and reliability.
