Vancouver Coastal Health is recruiting a Registered Nurse to join the In-Patient Surgery Unit at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC.
About the Role:
- As a Surgical Support Nurse, you will provide nursing care to patients and act as an auxiliary support for clinical care staff to enhance patient care at transitions in care.
- You will provide patient care at admission, discharge, and transfers between care areas and facilities.
About You:
- You must have current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- You must have two years' recent, related clinical experience in the designated clinical area, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- You must have knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a patient/family-centered model of care and hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
