Job Summary:This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse with a passion for geriatric care. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to clients in a client/family-centered model of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to elderly clients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Act as a clinical resource for nurses and other healthcare providers in the hospital and community.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in geriatric care.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Three (3) years' recent clinical/administrative experience in a specialized geriatric setting.
- Class 5 drivers' licence and own vehicle.
- Comprehensive benefit packages, including extended health/dental and a municipal pension plan.
- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
