About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Atlantik Quality Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical and mental well-being.
  • Collect specimens, change non-sterile dressings, and perform other tasks as required to ensure the health and safety of our clients.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and locations.
