Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Senior Long Haul Driver to join our team at GTR Express Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving a tractor-trailer, handling cargo, and interacting with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan routes using GPS and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns with professionalism.
  • Drive with a team or convoy, load/unload goods, and operate trucks.
  • Receive and relay information to dispatch, record cargo info, and track hours of service.
  • Prepare inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip).

Requirements: AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, valid passport, criminal record check, medical exam required. Willing to travel cross-border and extended periods.

Work Environment: Physically demanding, attention to detail, overtime required. Able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Personal Qualities: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliable, team player, hardworking, patient. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and 1-6 months of experience.
