Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team at ONTARIO LTD. as a Financial Record Keeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Overtime required
  • Repetitive tasks

  • Work under pressure
